Can you give me a quick summary of the Concierge@Work Program?
The Modern Concierge provides businesses with work · life balance services for your employees and executives in four ways:
- On-site concierge services
- TMC Connect: Access to our 24/7 telephone concierge
- Reduced rates for personal assistance
- Wellness@Work events- bringing health, fitness and lifestyle programs and education to the workplace
How much does it cost?
Costs vary depending on the level of services and number of employees. Plans are completely customizable based on your needs, and can start as low as $10 per employee per month. Once we discuss your needs, we will create a custom proposal for how we can best become part of your team.
What services are included in the contract?
Basic plans include a combination of at least eight hours of service from on-site concierge located at your office, 30 minutes per month/per employee to our 24/7 telephone concierge service, and reduced hourly rates for personal assistance projects. Wellness@Work events can be included as part of the monthly service agreement, or on an as-needed basis. As each plan is fully customizable depending on your needs, the range and frequency of services can vary.

What are the most common requests you receive?
Our requests range from the mundane to the unusual. We have found that clients seem to enjoy the attention that we pay to our custom gift baskets, access to hard-to-find tickets and items and travel arrangements.
Some of the more interesting requests we’ve received lately include booking a mariachi band for a lunch time concert at a Hollywood movie studio, buying and arranging a basket full of organic cleaning products and securing tickets to a sought-after event for a current presidential candidate.
Are there any services you don’t provide?
Through our creativity, diligence and valuable connections, we always try our best to meet the needs of our clients. If there is a need we can’t meet, we will attempt to refer you to one of our pre-screened, trusted vendors.
Can different types of employees receive different levels of benefits from TMC?
Absolutely! We can customize your plan to include various levels of benefits and can note these distinctions in our database. This could mean that employees of a certain level receive additional time for TMC Connect and personal assistance hours.
How soon can you start?

How will I know if my employees are using your services?
We are happy to send you a monthly report of how your employees are benefiting from the many programs of The Modern Concierge.
How do you educate my employees about your services?
We believe that employee education is the key to maximizing the utilization of our services. At the start of our relationship with your company, we will arrange a combination of programs to education your employees about the benefits of The Modern Concierge. These will include a combination of in-office events, email newsletters and personal visits by our on-site concierges.
Can you plan our company events as well?
Of course! Much of our staff has significant event planning experience. We are happy to work with you on all company events large and small, including holiday parties, board meetings and employee retreats.
